Tamar Aiono

I have always admired the courage and determination it takes for young people of different cultural backgrounds to step out of their comfort zone and immerse themselves in an environment that can be somewhat intimidating. I find joy in being the bridge for them and that's why I teach Japanese and ESOL. With that, I also teach senior Bible and what a privilege it is to help young people come to a realisation of who Jesus is and how real He is. Amidst a busy teaching life, I find time to enjoy the gastronomic pleasures of cooking and eating. Watching movies and listening to others' stories is also on my hit list to do in my spare time. Despite all this, spending time with my wonderful fiancé brings me the greatest satisfaction.
