Boys’ Hockey
This term, three of our boys – Liam Blakeborough, William Brothwell and Asher Brooking – have teamed up with boys from Freyberg and Cornerstone to compete in the new Hockey Manawatu 7-a side competition on Monday nights. The composite team played their first game last Monday and came away with a great win.
Girls’ Hockey
Our girls’ team finished off Term 2 with two pre-season games. It was a great way to introduce our new players to the game and try some senior players in new positions. Our first competition game of the season was a tough one against PNGHS 3. We lost 4-2 but the girls tried very hard, running nonstop and doing plenty of good things individually. We’re looking forward to training hard and having another brilliant season.
