On Friday, August 23, Sachi, DJ and Tsarine entered the UCOL Hospitality Competition.
The students competed against several other schools and all received awards for their efforts. It was a great day and the students’ performance on the day was outstanding, especially as they only had 1-week notice to prepare and only 2 practice cooks before the event.
Sachi received a bronze award for his Carrot Pot Cupcakes and was mentioned in the stuff.co.nz article.
Tsarine received a silver award for her vegetarian club sandwich.
DJ received a silver award for his Miami Vice and Rainbow Mocktails.
