On May 22, students in Years 4-8 from Whangarei, New Plymouth, Wellington and Invercargill, Palmerston North and the year 7&8 from LAC joined together with the years 9-13 students from LAC for a Mega Chapel. The idea came from Matt Moore, North NZ Youth and Chaplaincy Pastor, whose purpose was to celebrate Christ and to engage students in a combined format to develop closer spiritual and social relationships between schools.
Students, staff and chaplains from schools outside of Palmerston North stayed in LAC House dormitories. Pr Matt organised the Chapel programme in which all the visiting schools shared both an item as well as a promo video of their school. Later in the morning, senior students from LAC organised a combined schools tabloid sports programme.
