SORT IT CAREERS EXPO May 16
Our Year 11-13 students spent an action packed morning at the Arena, discovering the different ways they can study for or work in their chosen careers. It has been great to hear students talking about the information they found and being pro-active about researching how to move forward. Here are some photos from the day.
YOUNG WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS, Massey University
Young Woman’s Leadership Workshop at Massey taught us skills that we will use often in life. Skills that showed we are all capable leaders. We were taught different ways to relax us when speaking in front of people (large groups). It was a fun course to take where we could meet other girls from around lower north island that we could connect to. We had to try and organise a project, then explain what went well and didn’t go well that we had to share in front of the group. This course is for year 12 girls, it prepares them for leadership roles in the future. I highly recommend other students to go next year. (Elizabeth Martin – Year 12)
