The Secondary Schools Creative Woodskills Competition was held at the Square Edge on 18th October. Each year we enter projects into this competition and this year we entered 4 projects.
Our students were very fortunate, achieved well and came away with 3 of the 5 prizes on offer.
Daniel McBride came 1st equal with his coffee table, Caleb Neill came 3rd with his couch table and Jedd Curtis came 5th (Merit) with his couch table. The students can be very proud of their projects and achievements. It is always interesting to see what other schools/students are making in their workshops and it was also pleasing to see more schools entering the competition.
I would like to thank Middle Districts Farm Forestry Association, UCOL and Power-Tool Centre for their involvement and input into this competition and the great prizes the students receive.
